GOING WILD WITH SIGNS & GRAPHICS

Back to all projects

Wildlife Activity Centre

When we started working together…

As of 2014, Mint Signs have worked closely on a range of signs and graphics at Marwell Wildlife Park.

The work…

Our team has worked all around the park installing signs & graphics outside and in, including like the Gift Shop, Café and others.

External Signs & Graphics

In the Zoo car park, we installed several colourful, wayfinding panels and posts to direct people to the entrance. There is an archway with a welcome sign tray at the entrance and a smaller one for children. We attached Marwell branded banners to railings to make the queuing experience slightly more interesting for customers.

The team has supplied the zoo with a range of interactive displays made from Acrylic. These include educational spinner signs manufactured from three layers of acrylic mounted on ACM panels.

We have also applied vinyl graphics to vehicles that the zoo have including livery on their new Zoo Poo truck.

Internal Signs & Graphics

Inside the park there is a range of our work from displays to banners. There are many informative signs on hoardings and panel & posts. You can find a range of etch frosting vinyl on glass panelled enclosures. Several of the enclosures have hoardings with high-resolution printed graphics on giving information on the wildlife within.

The Gift Shop had a complete overhaul of new signage, inside and out. We installed new signage to both the front and back of the Gift Shop exterior. Externally, we wrapped the Totem poles with banners and topped them with cut, acrylic animals. Our fitters also installed a new fascia panel to the shop to identify the building.

Inside the shop, we applied vinyl window graphics to the large front windows and doors. Ceiling banners were installed throughout, and shaped panels were created to slot into the tops of the shelving units.

In the cafe we have installed decorative printed panels and graphics to various walls and counters. We have direct printed menu boards on black PVC and applied vinyl graphics to toilet doors.

Other buildings utilise a variety of other materials we have to offer. Some of these include the use of direct printed etch for a coloured frosting effect. This coupled with black cut vinyl on windows offers a scenic finish befitting the theme.

Conclusion

Marwell are an ongoing customer that challenge us with new ideas and concepts regularly. This is testament to the trust they place in us to make sure we get the job done right. It is our pleasure, to continue in accepting their challenges and turning their concepts into reality.
