LET'S GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER

Christmas Signage and Display Graphics for the Festive Season

Is late November too early to be mentioning the C word? If you work in a marketing department then you’ve likely been talking about Christmas since back in August!

It’s obvious from the signage in shops, wintry window displays and the High Streets adorned with twinkling lights that the festive season has well and truly arrived.

Our team are as busy as Santa’s elves in our Winchester based workshop all year round, creating signage and display graphics for businesses, brands and events. This time of year we get some wonderful winter enterprises and christmassy creative projects.

We thought we’d share some of our favourite festive ventures from over the years to get your creative Christmas juices flowing. So if you’re in the ‘Not in November!’ camp, you might wish to look away now…

Project: Christmas Cards – Green Magpie and Winchester Beacon

These beautiful Christmas cards were created by Green Magpie, an amazing local illustrator specialising in cut paper collage. Jo-Anne generously created and donated these lovely festive designs to local charity Winchester Beacon, where all profits from the sales go towards helping people facing homelessness this Christmas.

We were delighted to print these festive scenes, transforming them from unique pieces of art to a medium that can be enjoyed and shared between loved ones this Christmas. We particularly love the image of Kingsgate in the snow.

Thank you to Winchester Beacon for the beautiful image, capturing both printed designs so perfectly.

Project: Nativity Scene – Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market

We created this traditional Christmas nativity scene for Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market last year, inviting market-goers young and old to become part of the Christmas story.

These Christmas figures were made using our Kongsberg X24 to expertly cut the intricate outlines. Made from 10mm thick PVC Board, this display is weather resistant with sturdy bases so they remain standing throughout the day.

Project: Christmas Banner Signage – Winchester Christmas Market Ice Rink

Winchester Cathedral wishing their Christmas visitors peace and joy, back when the market had an ice rink. These huge banners not only utilise otherwise large areas of blank space, they also communicate whatever message you wish to convey.

We loved this festive red, contrasting with the snowy white of the ice and the glittering lights overhead. It’s Christmas signage on a big scale.

Project: Christmas Extravaganza Signage – Richmond House Beauty

Glittering gold font on a snowy white background evokes major winter celebratory vibes. This signage was for Richmond House Beauty’s Christmas Extravaganza in a previous year – Stylish and festive, without needing the traditional red to make an impact.

It’s giving glitz and glamour, yet peace and calm – Everything you’d want from a salon experience at Christmastime. Plus, have you seen the festive greenery that adorns their shopfront?

Project: Christmas Tree Wrapped Present Box – Visit Southampton and Thomas Miller Creative

Designed by the brilliant creative minds over at Thomas Miller Creative and printed by our talented team here at Mint Signs, this display graphic stood pride of place at the base of Visit Southampton’s Christmas tree.

Project: Printed Vinyl / Cut Vinyl Christmas Offer Window Sticker – Mint Signs

Printed cut vinyl is an easy, cost effective way to adorn your shop windows with festive cheer for the weeks leading up to Christmas.

These fun designs featured snowflakes, Santa’s, snowmen, candy canes and Christmas trees – Perfect for filling a window with a lovely wintry scene.

Project: Christmas Stationery – Quadrant Chambers

Many businesses have the best of intentions when it comes to company Christmas cards, but it’s not always possible to write a personal note to each and every customer and client from throughout the year.

Christmas stationery is a wonderful way of enabling you to send something branded and personalised to each of your clients and customers, without having to individually write to each one of them. It’s the thought that counts, after all!

This twinkly stationery for Quadrant Chambers is a perfect example of creating something festive that can be sent to clients as a stand alone festive note, or enclosed with another card or gift.

Project: Portrait PVC Banner Thank you – Winchester University

This portrait PVC Roll Up Banner Stand is a brilliant way of reaching out to people on campus before they head home for the Christmas break. The University of Winchester wanted to thank their students for helping keep Covid under control on campus, and what better way of thanking each and every one of them than by expressing this heartfelt message next to a huge Christmas tree, catching the eyes of all passers by.
